Full day Rainforest Birding + Kayaking

We will set off to the south-west area of the island of Chiloe to have a day trip that will take us to experience the fascinating rainforest, typical of the south of Chile, looking for the curious arboreal and predatory birds that will surprise us during our hike through the Bosquepiedra trail, perfectly combined with a kayaking tour in the Hullinco Lake to observe lacustrine birds.

Some of the target species: Chucao Tapaculo, Black-throated Huet-huet, Magellanic Tapaculo, Ochre-flanked Tapaculo, Ringed Kingfisher, Magellanic Woodpecker, Striped Woodpecker, Slender-billed Parakeet, Thorn-tailed Rayadito, White-throated Treerunner, Rufous-legged Owl, Des Murs’s Wiretail, Yellow-billed Pintail, Speckled Teal, Chiloe Wigeon, Great Egret, Snowy Egret, Cocoi Heron, Great Grebe, Plumbeous Rail
